TBSHS Toy Collection 2023
Salvation Army collect toys for re-distribution
At TBSHS we have been collecting toys over the last week to be handed to the Salvation Army who are offering a toy re-distribution service for children in need, in the local area.
On Thursday, Major Alan Frederiksen accompanied by volunteer member Peter, came to the School and collected a sack containing 74 toys.
Simon Etheridge, Subject Leader for RS & Citizenship and leader of Interact said “Santa came early to TBSHS this week as students, staff and parents brought new toys to TBSHS, for people in need in our local community, as part of the work of Interact. Thank you so much to Mrs MacEachern for leading this inspirational project. We continue to be mindful of those in need this Christmas.
