Student Societies
You can choose from 60 different clubs, societies and leadership opportunities to enrich your Sixth Form life beyond the classroom and we always welcome new ideas and suggestions to further develop the experiences available.
Research shows that the most fulfilled, happy, successful and interesting people balance a busy, challenging work life with a variety of other activities and interests. At TBSHS, you will be offered a wide range of ways to further your personal development, not only to increase your future options and your wellbeing but also to make a valued contribution to the highly varied life of TBSHS. Many of the activities on offer involve achievement at regional or national standard and all will enhance the very best of CVs.
Due to Covid restrictions, our trips have been on hold in recent times, however we are actively planning new Trips for the Summer of 2022 and beyond.
Many of our students enjoy fundraising in the pursuit of experiences abroad. You could experience different cultures on our sports tours that have ventured to South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and to Austria for skiing; bring your subjects to life through visits to Russia, France, Germany, Iceland, Poland, Holland and New York.
