Mitre Racing F1 Team in Regional Final

TBSHS Team comes in second place in speed race

A team of six TBSHS pupils have entered a car they designed, into the F1 in Schools competition, which involved designing, constructing and racing the fastest

Developed to introduce students to STEM subjects in the most engaging way possible –

through the creation of a miniature F1 car – F1 in Schools is an educational project like no other. Designed for teachers, informed by engineers, and endorsed by F1, this programme sets students on the fast track to STEM success; and provides a lot of fun on the way.

Students Harrison Rowe, Adrian Atanassov, Aryan Armani, Tom Greenhill, Kellan Hookham and Ian Malcom have spent months working on their project and took it to the regional competition.

Sadly they didn’t qualify for the National Final but they have certainly learned a lot, and gained great experience along they way.
