Thought For The Day – Wednesday 15th March 2023
Neurodiversity
We are all equal. We are all included.
But we are all diverse. We are all uniquely and beautifully different. Everyone brings their extraordinary perspective, based on nature and nurture. We value, accept and celebrate, who we are. We are us.
We also know, value, accept, celebrate and respect who other people are. For, like a wonderful jigsaw, people, in their diversity, all fit and work together to complete the whole and unified picture. It takes all of us. Everyone has a truly unique, colourful and very special contribution to make.
This week celebrates Neurodiversity, as Mr. Munro’s inspirational and insightful assemblies are exploring.
Thank you to the Learning Support Department and Inclusion Managers for all they do to lead this absolutely vital area for all of us at TBSHS.
Thank you to Mrs. Miles and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Team for all they do to lead this crucial area at TBSHS.
Neurodiversity refers to the unique nature of each person’s brain .
One of the awesome, astonishing and astounding miracles of life is the complex, subtle, intricate and beautiful nature of people’s psychology, personality, perspective, experience, soul and character.
The same is true for nature and the environment as a whole.
The beautiful mind. We all have unique stories, challenges, experiences, gifts and opportunities. Some people have particular unique stories, challenges, experiences, gifts and opportunities.
Our personal journeys and stories are only truly known to us.
But we all collectively help and support one another.
We are all works in progress but appreciate what we personally bring and give, and what everyone brings and gives.
We keep doing us.
