Step Into Christmas
TBSHS steps into Christmas today with our annual Christmas lunch.
There will be a record and remarkable over 1200 lunches served today.
Thank you so much to Mr. Cooper and the catering team for all they do every single school day, especially today. Thank you to all the staff serving and helping.
Timings of lunches are: 12:15 for Year 13, 12:25 for Year 12, 12:35 for Year 11, 12:50 for Year 7, 1:05 for Year 8, 1:25 for Year 9 and 13:40 for Year 10. Year 10 students representing the school in sport will have their lunch at 12:35.
Today sums up our school. Everyone included. Everyone having a very positive and happy time, whilst showing respect, integrity and standards.
You are also welcome to wear one festive item with your uniform today. No trainers. No hoodies. We will be collecting in morning form for Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank and Bishop’s Stortford Night Shelter for the homeless. Please give £1 or whatever you can afford. We are also very mindful of those in need today and every day.
We deeply know that Christmas is not an easy time for many, whether that be financially, physically, mentally or emotionally.
We continue the light and love of those we massively miss.
We take the stress and pressure off, do our best and remember all that matters is a kind heart.
It is the little things in life that make the biggest difference.
