Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are, and is,  integral or essential to “The Black and Gold Spirit” of TBSHS. 

Equality means everyone should be treated justly and fairly with equal or the same opportunities and rights or freedoms. Equals means being the same in quantity, size, degree, or value.

Diversity means variety and difference. This is the practice and quality of including or involving people from a range of different or diverse social and ethnic backgrounds and of different sexes, genders, sexual orientations, ages, disabilities.  A diverse team is a good, brilliant and better team. 

Inclusion means involving a person or persons on a group. No one is left behind. Everyone is respected and involved. Team very much means Together Everyone Achieves More.

We are delighted to welcome Phoebe Schecter to talk with the sixth form today in their Citizenship lesson.

Phoebe Schecter is a groundbreaking, pioneering and inspirational sports coach, player and broadcaster.  Phoebe is a former Buffalo Bills Tight Ends Coach, the current Team Captain of the Great Britain American Football Team, a global ambassador for NFL Flag,  Managing Director of U.K. Dukes, influential contributor and leader to many coaching organisations, popular event host  and the foremost female commentator on American Football for “Sky Sports” and “Talk Sport”.
