Outstanding Success for Connor Gunthorpe at the Royal Academy Young Artists’ Summer Show 2026
We are delighted to celebrate the continued success of Connor Gunthorpe, whose artwork Triumph
Motorcycle has won the People’s Choice Prize in the Royal Academy Young Artists’ Summer Show
2026.
Earlier this year, Connor’s work was selected for exhibition from over 25,000 submissions, placing
him among just 526 young artists chosen to exhibit. He has now gone on to receive the highest
number of public votes across the exhibition, earning the prestigious People’s Choice Award.
The Royal Academy highlighted the exceptional response to Connor’s work, with viewers praising
its outstanding detail, shading, and perspective.
