Thought For The Day – Friday 4th April 2025
Thank You For Everything
Pictured above: TBSHS early this morning
Thank you very much indeed for the wonderful contributions of carers, guardians, parents, governors, staff and students in our second term at Beaumont Avenue.
All great teams need great leadership. Thank you very much to Mr. Reeve and the Senior Leadership Team.
The first people at T.B.S.H.S. early this morning were the Caretaking and Catering teams, and the last people to leave last evening were the Cleaning team. They will be here late tonight too.
Thank you to everyone in our community, past and present.
Everyone plays a key role. It really does take absolutely everyone.
Thank you to all the Administrative, Attendance, Careers, Cover, Exams, Finance, Grounds, Library, Laboratory, Learning Support, Network, Office, Pastoral, Registration, Reprographics, Technical, Tuition and Visits staff.
We continue to thank all who have gone before us. Last month we remembered former Headteacher Mr. Shaw and also businessperson Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson, a friend of Mr. Shaw at Liverpool University, played a vital role in supporting T.B.S.H.S., including on the occasion of the opening of the new cricket pavilion at London Road thirty years ago this summer.
“Final Assembly” will be a fitting tribute to all that has been this term and all that is. Just like “The Mitre”. This will be an emotional final “Final Assembly” for some students.
Be inspired to (continue to) make your contribution. Inside, outside and beyond T.B.S.H.S.
Thank you to Ms. Hollins for her excellent contribution to T.B.S.H.S.
It has been beautiful to hear about Eid al-Fitr from students in assemblies at T.B.S.H.S. this week.
Thank you for your outstanding conduct at the Lent and Easter Services at Saint Michael’s Church. In Christianity, two weeks today is Good Friday, followed by Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.
Next weekend, a week tomorrow, marks the beginning of the vital important festival, and remembrance, of Passover in Judaism.
Together, we strive to create a good, and kind, world for all. Like Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, who passed away from this life on this date in history. His legacy was his actions, dream and witness.
Look after yourself, and others, in the next two weeks, and beyond.
Stay appropriate, legal and safe always, including on-line.
Thoughtfully help others in the community.
Reach out if you need any support.
Reach in to check everyone is good.
We strive to be better, mindful of our imperfections. Doing our best and being kind is what ultimately matters.
Those we love are always with us and constantly guide and inspire us.
