TBSHS’ “Oliver!” is a truly outstanding production of such brilliant attention to detail, emotional depth and intelligence, energy, joy, pace, positivity, professionalism. thoughtfulness and vastness.
TBSHS’ “Oliver!” features a massive cast, crew and musicians of students from every year group.
With such exceptional drama, music, dance, costumes, casting, lighting, sound, set, stage management and character, TBSHS’ School Hall is transformed into the London of “Oliver Twist” and Charles Dickens.
Every performance, every song, is show-stopping.
Every action, word and piece of music is absolutely perfect.
Every student leads the way.
Students from all years, including students who have just joined us, are outstanding, supporting one another, expertly and excellently guided, led and nurtured by the inspirational and wonderful staff involved.
The final performance and production is the product of so many hours of practice and preparation from staff and students, the hours and hours that no one sees, the sacrifices made over many weeks and months and more. Winter brilliance founded on massive summer and autumn preparation.
There really are no words to describe and do justice to TBSHS’ “Oliver!”. It has to be experienced. It is a very special memory and moment. Congratulations to everyone involved, staff and students.
As regards the plethora of excellent whole school productions in TBSHS’ school hall over the years, this is the very best, epic and fitting finale. “Oliver!” is “The Black and Gold Spirit”.
