Neurodiversity Week
This week we celebrate Neurodiversity Week.
A symbol of Neurodiversity, pictured above, is the rainbow infinity symbol, with a heart.
This symbolises love and respect for how we, and people generally, experience and interact with the world in different and diverse ways.
For Neurodiversity refers to the unique nature of each individual’s brain.
We are all uniquely beautiful, brilliant and different.
We all have wonderful gifts and skills.
Our unique gifts, and challenges, are our superpowers, which inspire and help us and other people.
The theme this year is: “Empowering Neurodiverse Voices – Building a Culture of Inclusion”.
The diverse team is the great team.
Because we need everyone.
Because we support everyone.
Because we nurture everyone.
Because we care for everyone.
Because we are inspired by everyone.
Because we celebrate everyone.
Everyone plays their wonderful part to create and enhance the larger whole.
Individual stories are community stories.
In our diversity, we are unified and united.
And in our unity, we are diverse.
