New School for TBSHS well on the way

Staff get to see the new School build

This week, support staff and teaching staff from TBSHS, were taken on a tour of the rapidly-progressing new School buildings on the nearby St James’ park site.

Whilst still officially a hard-hat site, the building skeleton is now complete and attention has turned from concrete to fitting out the inside.

Staff were taken around in groups and were able to view the new School Hall, the Canteen, the library, Strength & Conditioning gym, and Sports Hall plus one finished and fitted out classroom with a teaching wall, which includes an interactive whiteboard, projection screen and cupboard space.

It was very exciting as everyone tried to work out where they will be located in the much larger premises.

The new School is on track to open later this year.
