Thank you very much to all who have very kindly donated to our latest collection for “Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank”.
The picture above was taken last Sunday. There have been further donations since.
Every item, given so lovingly, is very special.
Every item, given so generously, is very much appreciated.
Every item is precious, treasured, and valued.
Like the receivers.
Like the givers.
Like everyone.
In life, we do all we can. In life, we give all we can.
The final day for donations for the 2026 Harvest Appeal at T.B.S.H.S. for “Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank” will be Friday the 16th of October, “World Food Day”, the day before “the International Day For The Eradication of Poverty”, on the 17th of October.
If we have not donated, and are able to do so, can we bring one item?
What is “The Black and Gold Sprit”?
It is a question often asked.
It could be said that “The Black and Gold Spirit” is many things.
And yet, it could be said, it is really one thing:
Respecting, helping, and looking out for, others.
Including our environment.
Service above self.
Being good. Being kind. Being respectful. Being thoughtful. Being humble.
On this day, and every day, we continue to think of, and act for, those in need locally, nationally, and internationally.
And we continue to think of, and act for, those who suffer, often beyond words, because of: poverty; environmental challenges; negative prejudice; negative discrimination; abuse; conflict; violence; war.
We continue to spread kindness, love, peace, respect, and understanding.
