Thought For The Day – Wednesday 11th October 2023
One Community, One World
Thank you very much for your great support of World Mental Health Day.
Thank you very much for raising a record £2459.85 for UNICEF appeals in Morocco and Libya on our non-school uniform day.
We continue to think of all those suffering at home and throughout the world, those suffering because of psychological, physical and environmental challenges, those suffering because of immorality, neglect, injustice, poverty, prejudice and discrimination, crime, displacement, war and conflict.
Life is so precious, sacred, valuable and valued.
Our environment is so precious, sacred, valuable and valued.
You are so precious, sacred, valuable and valued.
It is through commitment, aspiration, respect, integrity and community that we become the very best version of ourselves, we help others become the very best version of themselves and we help our environment become the very best version of itself.
We are collecting for our local Food Bank. Please bring any items to Room 8. We will also be collecting around the playground at break next week. Suggested items are; household cleaning products, sanitary products, nappies, toilet rolls, toiletries, crisps, tinned fruit and vegetables, sponge puddings, coffee, tea, cereal, jam, honey, pasta sauces, rice puddings and soup. No nuts.
