TitleThought For The Day – Tuesday October 11th 2022
Be You, Be Us
On World Mental Health Day yesterday, which you very kindly supported, the Prince and Princess of Wales, long advocates of this important area, recorded a special “BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat” programme. This programme will be broadcast today. We will raise money for the Prince and Princess of Wales’ mental health charities on Friday by selling refreshments.
We all have mental health. Our mind, and one another’s mind, is so very, very precious and unique. We need to be “mind kind” to ourselves and one another.
We need to be, treasure, appreciate and value ourselves.
We need to be with, treasure, appreciate and value one another.
A healthy lifestyle through good sleep, diet, hydration, work, extra-curricular and leisure activity, thoughtfulness and helping others greatly helps our mental health and wellbeing.
Particularly crucial and vital is communication, talking and sharing any concerns or worries for this really does help and make the key difference, like gently easing the top off a fizzy drink. “It is ok not to be ok”. We especially think of, and support, anyone with particular challenges.
Life can be very challenging. We show depth, kindness, resilience, humility, care, empathy, love and growth. We spread the love. We remember those who inspire.
Today is another important day. Mrs. Butler has organized on-line safety sessions. On-line safety is absolutely paramount and totally essential to our and your mental health and wellbeing.
Every day is mental health and wellbeing day.
Be you. Be us.
