Thought For The Day – Tuesday 2nd December 2025
Step Into Christmas
Today sees our wonderful Christmas lunch served to over 1000 people.
Timings are as follows: 12:50, Year 11; 13:00, Year 7; 13:15, Year 8; 13.30, Year 9; 13:40, Year 10.
This is an opportunity to greatly thank Mr. Cooper and the catering team for their wonderful work each day.
We are blessed that Mr. Cooper, and the catering team, work at T.B.S.H.S.. They epitomise commitment, aspiration, respect, integrity, and community. They show a safe, resilient, and respectful “can do” attitude every day. Every meal and person matters to them.
December marks the beginning of the Christian season of Advent, where Christmas is prepared for.
Giving is a reason for the season.
Today, you have an opportunity to wear one festive item with your uniform and donate to “Grove Cottage” and “Save The Children”, local and international charities.
If you wish to engage in ” bag packing” for Rotary’s Christmas charity, please attend Interact at 1.25 in Room C05 on Wednesday 3rd December.
Around Bishop’s Stortford, “The Light Ranger”, pictured above, Mark Sanders, can also be seen, once again, raising money for charity.
