Today is World Nelson Mandela Day, marking the day when Nelson Mandela was born.  

Nelson Mandela stood up to racism, prejudice and discrimination.

He stood up for equality, diversity and inclusion.

Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for twenty seven years. In prison, and when he was released and then became President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela showed love, respect and reconciliation to all, bringing people together, and also standing up for the poor and those suffering from HIV/AIDS.
