Thought For The Day – Tuesday 18th April 2023

We continue to remember Will Scutts.  Will’s funeral will be held today at Saint Andrew’s Church, Much Hadham.

Today, and always, we keep in our deepest thoughts and prayers Will, Will’s family and Will’s friends.

We also think about those members of staff and students, led by Mr. Reeve, attending Will’s funeral.

The Bishop’s Stortford High School will always respect, remember and be inspired by Will Scutts.  Will totally epitomized the values and ethos of The Bishop’s Stortford High School.  Let us all be inspired by Will and his wonderful legacy in the classroom, in extra-curricular activities and in the kind of brilliant person Will was, today and every day.

The tributes made from Mr. Reeve and Will’s friends in Final Assembly, and from Year 11 laying beautiful flowers in the final week of the Easter term, and supporting one another in tribute to Will,  were beyond extraordinary and the perfect reflection of Will.

We always remember, and are inspired by, the light and love of those who have passed away, and who we massively miss in this life, both at TBSHS and in our own families.  We strive to continue, and pay forward,  their brilliant and beautiful  legacy.   We may hope for Heaven. We help and support one another, and always remember, being grateful beyond words for their life, light and love brilliantly lived.

Will Scutts will always inspire us, and be part of us,  at TBSHS,  and beyond.
