Thought For The Day – Thursday 8th February 2024
Black, Gold and Green Heart
Health does not just mean the absence of significant infirmity and illness.
Health is the mental and physical care, and wellbeing, of other people and ourselves.
Mental and physical health, of others and ourselves, is equally important.
This week, it was announced that King Charles III is being treated for cancer.
We send our very best wishes to King Charles.
We equally send our very best wishes to people of all ages in our local, national and international communities who are experiencing a physical, or mental or emotional, health challenge.
They, and their families, show an inspiration, love and resilience beyond words.
We pay massive tribute to all the truly wonderful people who care for those with health challenges and needs.
They, and their families, show a care, kindness, respect and responsibility beyond words.
The sign of a good community, society and world is how it values the vulnerable and spreads the love.
Something that is so essential to our general health and wellbeing, and something King Charles has always championed, is the fine, holistic and intricate balance and harmony of our wider environment and the natural world.
Thank you to all who are raising awareness of, and putting into practice, sustainability at the school, including in the jog or run to school, and in the various sustainability quizzes and opportunities.
A black, gold and green heart, the black, gold and green heart, cares for others, cares for the environment and cares for ourselves.
