Massive congratulations to the Headteacher of The Bishop’s Stortford High School, Mr Reeve, for completing the “Lakes In A Day Ultra Run From Caldbeck to Cartmel”. Mr Reeve is pictured above finishing the race.
Mr Reeve completed this beyond demanding run of fifty miles on very challenging terrain at 23:29 on Saturday evening of the 8th October. Mr Reeve posted an incredible and enduring time of 15:29:40. A truly super Saturday.
This event took place in the wonderful county of Cumbria, a gem of the world.
Through his epic challenge, Mr Reeve has selflessly raised funds for the very exciting, historic and ground-breaking new educational facilities and site of The Bishop’s Stortford High School.
Mr Reeve massively modelled resilience, respect, rigour and responsibility for us all once again. Leadership by example. “The Black and Gold Spirit”.
Whatever your challenge, whatever your cause, wherever your journey and destination, whoever your inspiration and support, be inspired by Mr. Reeve’s example to reach your goal. Keep on keeping on.
True leadership. We do not know, and can only imagine, what it takes to lead a school at any time,
especially in a global pandemic.
A new school move, being meticulously planned by a dedicated team for the last few years, adds a further dimension.
