Thought For The Day – Friday 5th May 2023
The Big Help Out
Thank you for all you have done this week. It is very much appreciated. We finish well today.
Well done to Year 10 on their examinations. Keep it going.
Good luck to those in other years revising at this important time of year. You can still make the difference. It is never too late until the examination script is handed in. Routine, revision, rigour, rest, relaxation, respect. Summer holidays and results days are the reward.
In all things we do your best, look after others, stay safe.
We hope you have a very nice bank holiday weekend. Many will follow, celebrate and participate in the Coronation of King Charles III in Westminster Abbey on Saturday, with further community events planned. Other people will have their own respectful approaches and perspectives.
We are always mindful of all in need and value the vulnerable. We all look after, and look out for, one another, follow the law, stay safe and celebrate equality, diversity, inclusion and respect in communities. We know that life is precious and we treasure it. We make the most of each day and moment, ensuring no one is left behind.
On Monday, people are being encouraged to do something to help others in “The Big Help Out”.
