Thought For The Day – Friday 15^th December 2023

Thank you to the following Interacters who will be bag packing on Sunday to support very important and inspirational Bishop’s Stortford Rotary Club’s “Christmas Collections” project.

This wonderful annual project, which has been run for many years,  raises money to buy vouchers for those in need at Christmas.

We take this opportunity to pay tribute to the outstanding and tireless work of Rotarians, who visit TBSJS every week and do so much brilliant work in our community, giving so generously of their time. They never retire from their excellent work. They are the very best of our local community.

The majority of the students helping below faithfully attend charity meetings every week.

These students will be in school uniform, representing TBSHS, as well as themselves, their families,  Rotary and their place of work on Sunday.   Santa hats will be provided.

There are very strict and tight limits on numbers.  There are a couple of spaces left, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Students must e-mail Mr. Etheridge by Saturday 6 p.m. if they wish to help.

10 a.m.- 12 p.m.

Charlie B (Y12), Finley M (Y8), Josh T (Y10), Ollie B, (Y8), Reggie T (Y7).

12 p.m.- 2 p.m.

Fin M (Y10), Isaac J (Y10), Seth R (Y8), Bradley C (Y9), Alessio R (Y9).

2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

In this endeavour on Sunday, “The Christmas Spirit” will, once again, be shown.
