Sixth Form Charities Day
Fairies & Soldiers are the order of the day.
Tutus, pink tights, tiaras and camouflage trousers are the order of the day!
Once again there are some astonishing sights to be seen around the Sixth Form areas of The Bishop’s Stortford High School.
Today is Sixth Form Charities Day and the one day each year when the usual dress code vanishes, like fairies on the breeze.
Held annually in memory of former students who have sadly passed away whilst at TBSHS, the day raises funds for three charities: Cazfest, Help for Heroes and Brain Tumour Research Campaign to support a student who left last year and is currently suffering with Brain Cancer.
The girls are dressed in combat fatigues and the boys as fairies so the whole 6th Form Centre looks very different from usual.
Other fundraising activites follow later in the day, such as dodgeball and table tennis during enrichment time.
It is unique to TBSHS and long may it continue!
