We are proud to announce the success of several of our students in securing prestigious university offers from the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford. These outstanding achievements reflect the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence of our students, as well as the unwavering support of our teaching staff.
The following students have received offers from the University of Cambridge:
- Rahul Rana – Medicine, St John’s College (A*A*AA)
- Raphael Tsang – Modern & Medieval Languages, King’s College (A*AA)
- Neran Weaver – Natural Sciences (Physical), Homerton College (A*A*AA)
Additionally, two students have secured unconditional offers from the University of Oxford, having already achieved their required grades:

- Robin Munday – Ancient & Modern History, Lincoln College
Rahul is heading to St John’s College to read medicine, whilst his older brother Rohan, who left TBSHS in 2023, is already at Cambridge reading medicine, although at Gonville & Caius college.
These offers highlight the academic excellence and ambition of our students, demonstrating their ability to compete at the highest level. Our school community is immensely proud of their achievements and wishes them every success as they embark on this next stage of their academic journey.
Fiona Price, TBSHS Post-18 and Oxbridge Co-ordinator, commented, “We are delighted that our students continue to be highly successful in gaining Oxbridge offers across both Science and Humanities subjects. These talented students have worked exceptionally hard, making full use of all the support offered by our staff and of the numerous enrichment opportunities, virtual and in-person, to develop their academic ability. They have been involved with societies, external speakers, summer schools, work experience and wider reading. We hope that their continued hard work will result in the required grades in the summer.”
Year 13 Post-18 Update
Our Year 13 cohort have received a fantastic range of university offers despite the increased competition for places this year. So far there has a been a 75% positive response rate to the all the different course choices submitted and over 50 students have received offers from all their choices. In addition to our 5 Oxbridge and currently 2 Medicine offers, over 33% of all offers are from Russell Group universities including the likes of LSE, Durham and Warwick.
A variety of students are progressing well on apprenticeship applications in a range of industry sectors with some offers already made from the likes of Price Bailey, Deloitte and we look forward to celebrating further successes.
