TBSHS Musician of the year 2025

The 45th Annual Music Festival was last night, won by Ezra Darley from Year 11.

Congratulations Ezra!

Ezra won, after a very exciting competition featuring the best school musicians in every category – Percussion, Woodwind, Bass Guitar, Strings, Brass, Piano, Contemporary Guitar and Voice.

Judged by our guest adjudicator, Rebecca Millar, the Beginner and Intermediate Finals had been held earlier in the afternoon, before a packed hall heard the advanced finalists perform.

After a performance by the TBSHS Swing band, in which several of the finalists also performed, Rebecca gave her judgement.

After presenting trophies to the winner of the Beginners and Intermediate Finals, which took place earlier in the afternoon, Rebecca gave feedback to all the finalists before awarding the commended to Taixian Liang, the Highly Commended to Ben Lines and declaring Ezra the Winner.
