Thought For The Day – Monday 9th February 2026
Our Place, Our Space
This week is the 12th annual “Children’s Mental Health Week” in the U.K., organised by “Place2Be”.
“Place2Be” is a charity which provides mental health support to families, schools, and young people.
The theme this year is “This is My Place”.
This year’s theme highlights the importance of belonging, and creating and encouraging supportive environments in schools, homes, and communities, for children’s mental wellbeing.
Mental and psychological health, help, support, and wellbeing remains vital in society.
We care for, and nurture, the mental health and wellbeing of ourselves and other people.
Though balance, kindness, and respect are always the foundation, activities, aims, aspirations, and endeavours help people through their lives.
A sense of place, as well as a sense of place, increases belonging, love, and support.
This week is also “National Apprenticeship Week”.
Thank you to Mrs. Jonas for all the work-related learning opportunities Mrs. Jonas organises, including this week.
This week, we complete and finish this half-term safely and well.
