Thought For The Day – Friday 11th July 2025
Sports Day 2025
We are pumped and ready to go for Sports Day 2025, our first at Beaumont Avenue.
Every student should be in Physical Education kit at T.B.S.H.S. today.
Photographs from the 2024 edition of Sports Day are above.
“The Black and Gold Spirit” will be seen today as everyone gives their very best, everyone supports each other and everyone shows respect and everyone stays safe.
We support everyone across the line. Everyone does their very best.
Students should ensure they bring a full water bottle, hat and sun cream.
Students must register in form rooms at 8:40, visiting the toilet beforehand.
Track events will now take place in the morning, after registration in forms:
- 08:40 100m
- 08:55 800m
- 09:15 200m
- 09:35 1500m
- 10:10 300/400m
- 10:25 Relays
- 10:40 Break
Spectators should sit in house areas. Spectators should engage and roar on their house and the athletes generally.
Athletes should sit in the “athletes’ area” until they have completed their event. After they have participated, they must then return to their “house area”.
The track must be respected and not crossed in races.
Arrangements will be made for water to be provided for spectators and athletes to fill water bottles.
Ice pops will be on sale for charity. Thank you to Mr. Cooper.
In the afternoon, field events will follow in the following order:
- Year 10 11:00 – 11:40
- Year 9 11:40 – 12:30
- Year 8 12:30 – 13:10
- Year 7 14:00 – 15:00
Lunch will be at 13:00, as normal
Year 7 field events will take place in Period 5.
Final presentations will take place in Final Assembly.
