Thought For The Day – Tuesday 7^th May 2024

Today marks the final lessons and assembly for Year 11 students before their final examinations, after five years in the school.

We finish well, with grace and gratitude.  Sunny weather marks the day.

Thank you to Year 11 for their brilliant contributions to TBSHS inside and outside the classroom, in the curricular and extra-curricular activities and dimensions, in the school and the community. You made memories. Each student is named, and thanked, personally below.

So many memories in five years. In times of happiness, and in times of challenge, you did everything with a Black and Gold heart, looking after yourself and others. That is “The Black and Gold Spirit”.

Thank you to Mr. Reeve, Mr. Harvey, Mr. Ardin, Mrs. Harris, form tutors, teachers, all current, and former, members of staff in every part of the school, senior, pastoral, careers and school leaders who helped along the journey. It takes everyone.

This is just the beginning. After an emotional moment today, it is on to the examinations, revising and applying all you have learnt for your wonderful future.  Summer holidays and results day are the reward. Do your best. Be a good person. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Stay safe and stay humble. Always remember your roots and your journey. Most of all, thank you to your wonderful parents and families.
