Thought For The Day – Wednesday 6th March 2024
A New Dawn
Inspirational opportunities continue this week:
- TBSHS’ Careers Week events continue. Make the most of these wonderful events. They could change your life. Think about your future. Thank you very much to Mrs. Jonas.
- The Languages exchange visit also continues. We continue to warmly welcome our guests.
- The 2024 Music Festival Finals and Finalé Concert are today. Good luck to all participating. Thank you to all who have taken part in, and organised, this excellent event over eight school days (not to mention the numerous preparation hours beforehand for many years).
- Book Week is this week. World Book Day tomorrow. Literacy is life. Keep reading.
- International Women’s Day is on Friday. Stand up to sexism. Stand up to all negative prejudice and discrimination. Please wear one item in a different colour. No trainers or hooded tops please. Thank you to Mr. Cooper, and his team, we will be selling doughnuts in the playground at lunch on Friday for a related charity.
Lessons and further extra-curricular activities continue.
Please show your support. Get involved.
At, and from, each new dawn, we give and do our very best, and appreciate the good.
But we are always, always mindful of, and empathetic with, the many challenges people face. We treat others as we wish to be treated and look after others, and ourselves. We support one another.
This is “The Black and Gold Spirit”.
