Thought For The Day – Wednesday 28th June 2023
Past, Present, Future
We are very grateful that OFSTED have judged our school as outstanding in a very positive and wonderful report which stated: “Pupils achieve highly at this stunning school.”
We pay great tribute, and express appreciation to, Mr. Reeve and the Governors of TBSHS, the Senior Leadership Team and all the staff in every area of TBSHS for their brilliant and wonderful contributions and work.
We pay great tribute, and express appreciation, to you, all the students, for your brilliant and wonderful contributions and work.
Everyone plays an absolutely vital role.
We know that behind us all are caring, inspirational, loving and supportive families, relations, carers and friends. We never forget our roots and our story. We stand on the shoulders of these giants. Home is where the heart is.
As well as living in the present and looking to the future, we remember, respect and appreciate the past. We remember the contribution of staff, students and parents have made over many years.
We remember all who have passed away and who continue to guide and inspire.
A particular mention must be made of Year 11 and Year 13 students last academic year and all staff, students and parents who demonstrated particularly thoughtful care in the global pandemic, including examination years then.
In our moments of positivity in life, we think of, and give back to, others in our local, national and international community.
Just as we would wish others to think of us in our moments of challenge, concern and difficulty.
Good character, compassion, empathy, humility, reflection for continuing improvement and caring for, and thinking of, those in need follows.
In reaching up, we reach out. To help others. To be helped ourselves.
Commitment, aspiration, respect, integrity, community.
Past, present, future.
The story continues, everywhere and everywhen.
Each day is precious.
Keep doing your best, looking after yourself and looking after others.
