Thought For The Day – Tuesday 19th September 2023
Today Is Non-School Uniform Day
We think deeply about those suffering beyond words in Morocco and Libya. Today we hold our non-school uniform day for appropriate, international charities helping in affected areas and people.
Our standards remain high. Learning, respect and responsibility continue in class, around school, in the extra-curricular and in the community and in the environment.
We respect one another’s non-uniform.
We care for, and look after, one another, and ourselves.
Please bring books, equipment and locker keys.
Hoodies (so long as the hood is not up), trainers and sports shirts are allowed. Caps are not allowed.
Please bring in your £2 voluntary contribution to form time. Your donation will be registered and is very, very much appreciated. Two form representatives will bring monies to Room 8.
Thank you to staff, students and parents for all the wonderful support, as always.
This caring community is “The Black and Gold Spirit”.
This is the “The Black and Gold Heart”.
Every day we are mindful of, and act for, those in need, locally, nationally and internationally.
