Thought For The Day – Monday 20th November 2023

Mr. Darren Solomons, who passed away on this date in 2017, six years ago, was a truly wonderful teacher and person.

Mr. Solomons worked at TBSHS from 2010 to 2017.

Students who were first taught by Mr. Solomons had the same experience of an outstanding and wonderful teacher and person as students who were latterly taught by Mr. Solomons.

Students and staff paid great tribute at the time, and still do. Mr. Solomons influenced and inspired, and influences and inspires, so very many.

As part of a very fitting tribute to Mr. Solomons at the time, Mr. Reeve perfectly stated:

“Mr. Solomons was loved and respected by staff and the sixth form students he worked with. Mr. Solomons embodied ‘The Black and Gold Spirit’.”

Mr. Solomons is always remembered, always loved.

We deeply think about Mr. Solomons’ family at this time. May they know, and take massive comfort from, the fact that Mr. Solomons was the very, very best.

We were blessed to know Mr. Solomons.

The unique legacy of all wonderful people continues eternally, through those they influence, inspire and love, and through those who have loved them.
