Thought For The Day – Monday 20th May 2024
Keep On Keeping On
Good luck to all Year 7 students, who begin their examinations today.
Pace yourself between and during exams. Take every day, each question and exam, at a time. Respect the exams and the rules, read the questions carefully, show your knowledge, understanding, evaluation and skills in your responses and pay attention to literacy. Try to enjoy the challenge and show passion for your subjects. After you have actively and effectively revised, rest and sleep in the evenings.
All you need to give is… your best.
All this also applies to Year 11 and Year 13 students, who continue their public examinations this week.
Last week was a very busy week, particularly for Year 11 students who brilliantly kept going throughout a very busy schedule.
Dig deep. Big push until half term, where there can be, to a certain extent, a mini-break. Summer holidays, Results Day, and life beyond are the ultimate rewards. Eyes on the prize, but keep perspective. Life is a personal and collective journey. Keep calm and carry on. Be the very best version of yourselves.
Year 8 and Year 12 are currently preparing for their important internal examinations. Year 10 and Year 12 students are building the foundations now for their success in season 2024/2025 in their subjects, and beyond.
Thank you very much for all your wonderful work. It is very much appreciated.
