Thought For The Day – Monday 13th November 2023
Light and Love
Thank you for Remembering last week, on Friday, at the weekend and every day.
The annual and beautiful Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, on the evening of Armistice Day, attended by attended by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, , and hosted by Clare Balding C.B.E., saw families, past and present, told their very moving personal histories of those who had sacrificed, served and suffered. Inspirational people who gave, and give, their lives to keep everyone safe.
Families last week, and every week, are inspired beyond words by the legacy of light and love of those they and we hold most dear.
“The Armed Man: A Mass For Peace” is a mass or sacred, spiritual musical composition by Sir Karl Jenkins. This composition reflects the horror and suffering of conflict and war, before returning to the blessed harmony of peace: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0grrrb9
What remains in, after, and is most important about, life is; care, goodness, kindness, respect, light and love.
