Inspiration
Good luck to Mr. Munro who participates in the London Marathon 2022 on Sunday.
Mr. Munro, Black and Gold Legend, will be running for The Stroke Association in memory of his dad. Mr. Munro’s dad passed away from a stroke in 2004.
As Mr. Munro stands on the start line, and throughout this course: https://www.tcslondonmarathon.com/the-event/the-course (please scroll down for the excellent video), the whole Black and Gold community, past and present, will be with Mr. Munro every step of the way.
Mr. Munro wonderfully models our school values of commitment, aspiration, respect, integrity and community. What can we do inspired by Mr. Munro?
Mr. Munro has had to show super resilience with this year’s London Marathon as, due to illness last year, he had to postpone his participation in the final few days beforehand. Up the mountain Mr. Munro has gone again. Absolutely brilliant.
Massive inspiration. Thank you, sir.

Our heroes, role models and inspirations are all around us. They are in our families, in our neighbourhoods, in our communities, in our schools. Whatever good they, or you, do, representation, support, resilience, respect, kindness, empathy, helping others and inspiration follows. Those we love are always with us and they will always inspire us.
Thank you for all the good you have done this week. Have a good weekend, when it arrives.
Good luck, and thank you, to students and staff in weekend sporting events.
Go Mr. Munro!
