Mr Munro Completes the London Marathon
Mr Munro runs a fantastic time in his first Marathon
Congratulations go to Mr Munro, Deputy Head of 6th Form and PE Teacher, who ran his first London Marathon yesterday, after a year’s delay. He was planning to do it last year, but unfortunately fell ill the week of the marathon and had to defer for a year.
Running in memory of his father, Mr Munro has raised just over £2000 for the Stroke Association which in itself is a fantastic effort.
He finished in the amazing time of 3 hours 52 minutes which is a great achievement for his first time.
It was a fantastic experience he says, and I would do it again as I know in myself I can run it quicker. For the next few days though, I am just taking it easy!
If anyone would like to contribute, his fundraising page is still open here –
