Thought For The Day – Monday 23rd March 2026
Pause For Thought
Photograph above taken at sunrise on Mothering Sunday, the 15th of March 2026.
In the next two days, we will, once again, visit Saint Michael’s Church in Bishop’s Stortford for our “Lent and Easter Services”.
As we walk to, and in, Bishop’s Stortford, we will, once again, represent T.B.S.H.S. in the community.
We wear the uniform of the School with appropriate pride, doing good, showing respect, representing, and helping others.
As you depart Saint Michael’s Church after the services, if you are able to make a donation, that would be very much appreciated by the church.
At T.B.S.H.S., we are also collecting Easter eggs for Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank.
Whatever our appropriate beliefs, our visits to Saint Michael’s Church, engaging with The Christian Story, provide an opportunity to reflect on the “past, present and future” of our lives, and the lives of others.
In our busy world, where integrity, love, morality, perspective can be lost, we show respect and pause for thought.
And after thinking, and reflecting, we act.
For good.
In our services we deeply think about all in our local, national, international, global community.
We will also keep in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers those close to us.
We will particularly profoundly remember our inspirational former student, Will Scutts, and Will’s family. Tomorrow, the 24th of March 2026, marks three years since Will passed away from this life.
