At TBSHS, we began celebrating National Apprenticeship Week early this year by hosting a lunchtime Careers Workshop in January delivered by ex-student Eilidh Malcolm from GSK. Eilidh is well placed to talk about her career journey so far having almost completed her Degree Apprenticeship with GSK, and was recently placed runner up in a national competition Apprentice of the Year. In the afternoon, Year 12 benefitted from a comprehensive session with Laura Hackett of Amazing Apprentices, co-hosted by Eilidh and with another ex-student Jake Hepworth, they gave the Year 12 students terrific accounts of their apprenticeship journeys to date. Jake is also working towards a degree apprenticeship with Hill Developers – it was delightful to welcome them both back.
On February 7th ex-student Kira Shaw returns to TBSHS to talk about her Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship plus the opportunities with leading high-profile and prestigious London law firm Mischon de Reya and, on 24th February, we will welcome ISG & Mace (construction).
