As Martin Luther King Day was remembered yesterday, Reverend Dr. King’s legacy, and that of Coretta Scott King, very much continues through the leadership of their children and family.
Today, Reverend Dr. Bernice A. King and Martin Luther King III continue to inspire, lead, and serve.
Just as Yolanda King and Dexter King, also children of Coretta and Martin, who have passed away from this life, also inspired, led, and served.
The daughter of Martin Luther King III, and granddaughter of Martin Luther King Junior, Yolanda, Renee King, named after her Aunt, also continues this legacy. Yesterday, aged seventeen, Yolanda spoke about peace and unity.
“Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love”, said Martin Luther King.
The Dream is kept alive.
