Thought For The Day – Friday 31st January 2025
Care
In the pursuit of positive progress, and as we live our lives generally, we should not forget to care.
Care for others.
Care for our environment.
Care for ourselves.
We treat others as we ourselves wish to be treated. This is “The Golden Rule”.
Care spans and transcends cultures, generations, identities, situations and times.
Care is unique and universal.
Care connects, encourages, empowers, engages, empathises, listens, nurtures, reflects, takes the time and values.
Care is compassionate and humble, mindful of our own imperfections and vulnerabilities.
We are all on a journey.
Care stands up for honesty, goodness and justice. Care is integrity.
On Monday of this week, we remembered Holocaust Memorial Day.
In the above pictures, The Princess of Wales meets Holocaust survivors Yvonne Bernstein and Steven Frank on Monday 27th January 2025.
On 29th April we will, hopefully, welcome Hannah Lewis M.B.E. back to our school.
Hannah’s mum sacrificed her life for her daughter. Hannah’s dad stood up against wrong.
In her inspirational and positive care beyond words, Hannah continues and enhances their legacy.
Yesterday was Carers’ and Parents’ Mental Health Day.
