Four TBSHS Students heading to Oxbridge

We are delighted to hear that three of our Year 13 students and one alumnus have been offered places to attend Oxford or Cambridge Universities this year.

Evan Badcock, Robert Gor, Charlotte Brown, and Raphael Tsang will be heading to Oxbridge colleges in October.

Evan has an open offer through Exeter College to read Mathematics and will be joining his brother David, who left TBSHS in 2024, and is currently studying at St Edmund Hall. Charlotte has an offer from Brasenose College, Oxford to read Economics & Management and Robert has an offer to read Mathematics from Girton College, Cambridge.

Raphael Tsang, who finished his A levels last summer, has a confirmed place at King’s College, Cambridge, to read History & French.

The offers required range from A*AA to A*A*AA, so our Year 13 students have plenty of work to do to get the highest marks in their upcoming A levels; a challenge which we are quietly confident they will meet.

These talented students have worked exceptionally hard, making full use of all the support offered by our staff and of the numerous enrichment opportunities, virtual and in-person, to develop their academic ability. They have been involved with societies, external speakers, summer schools, work experience and wider reading. We hope that their continued hard work will result in the required grades in the summer.’
