Thought For The Day – Wednesday 12^th November 2025

Yesterday, the current community of The Bishop’s Stortford High School, composed of over 1300 people, gathered together, paused and stopped to remember, and respect.

As we should.   As we must.

Our “Act and Service of Remembrance”, led by Mr. Reeve, organised by Mr. Harvey, and featuring a student reading, and another student playing “The Last Post”, to this very large assembly was impeccably observed.

Students, led by Mrs. Miles, represented The Bishop’s Stortford High School at the local commemoration at the War Memorial in Castle Gardens.

And, as we continue our journey of life, we will always remember.

And we will never forget.

“Respice. Aspice. Prospice”.
