Sports Day 2024 #Pumped
Today sees Sports Day 2024 take place.
All competitors must arrive at school in their Physical Education kit.
Students not participating in track and / or field events at Sports Day 2024 must be in school uniform.
All students must bring a water bottle.
The timetable for Sports Day 2024 is:
Morning: Field Events
- 8:40-9:30: Year 10
- 9:30-10:15: Year 7
- 10:15-11:00: Year 9
- 11:00-11:45: Year 8
Lunch and Registration
- 11.50 – 12.35: Lunch
- 12:35: Registration in form rooms
- 12.45. Tutors escort forms to the field and staff supervise students in allocated house areas.
Afternoon: Track Events
Please do not walk on, or cross, the track.
Competitors should sit in the “athletes’ area” until they have completed their event. After this they must then return to their house area.
All other students must remain in their designated house area and actively support their house and fellow students.
- 12:50: Officials “ready for action. The following timings are approximate:
- 1300: 100 metres
- 1315: 800 metres
- 1335: 200 metres
- 1355: 1500 metres
- 1430: 300/400 metres
- 1445: Relays
- 1505: Presentations
- 1520: Departure
The 2024 House Championship, the winner of which is announced at Final Assembly. is at stake. There is all to play for. May the best house win.
Sports Day is always a great, and inclusive, occasion where everyone supports one another.
We give everyone a “Black and Gold” roar.
We are also “Black, Gold and Green”. No litter.
