Thought For The Day – Thursday 30th June 2022

Little Things, Big Difference

We have guests in school for the next two days with Sixth Form Induction.

Everyone in the school has been working very hard for this moment, including, for example,  the cleaners staying until 9pm and 8.30 pm on the last two evenings to get the school clean and ready for our guests.

Please make our prospective new sixth formers very welcome.  We show consideration, respect, kindness and manners, as we do at all times. The Black and Gold Spirit is polite, respectful, inclusive, kind and welcoming.

These seemingly little things make a big difference. Manners are important. Manners are ways of behaving and acting to people. They are about consideration, respect and kindness.

For example, we let other people go before us, do not barge past, or interrupt, people, we address people with respect and we look out for others if they are lost.

Let’s go.
