Course Information

Assessment Outline

This course is a mixture of externally examined units and internally assessed coursework which is sent away for verification. The externally assessed units are Anatomy and Physiology (Unit 1) and Fitness Training and Programming (Unit 2) which is a pre-released assessment done under exam conditions.

The remaining units are coursework assessed units normally consisting of 3 different assignments for completion in lesson time and at home.

Assessment Objectives

There are a range of different assessment objectives that vary for the different units which are studied.

Key Skills in this task

To give an understanding to Unit 1 and further enhance the knowledge acquired in GCSE PE.

Marking Criteria / Assessment Method
