Rugby Tour South Africa 2018
The next school Rugby Tour to South Africa will take place in July/August 2018.
Pupils currently in years 10, 11 and 12 (2016-17) will be travelling to South Africa to experience an opportunity of a lifetime and one that will enable the pupils to play rugby in a foreign country, spend time experiencing a different culture, as well helping them to mature as players, individuals and as a team.

Sample Itinerary for Tour, Actual Details still to be confirmed
Day 1: LONDON / CAPE TOWN
Arrive at London Heathrow Airport where you will be met by an England Rugby Travel representative who will oversee check in for your overnight British Airways flight to Cape Town.
Depart on flight.
Day 2: CAPE TOWN
Arrive into Cape Town International Airport where you will be met by an England Rugby Travel representative. You will then transfer to the GoedgedachtTrust for a two night stay on a full board basis.
This afternoon you will have the opportunity for a training session.
EXCURSION: Coach the children at the trust.
Day 3: CAPE TOWN
After breakfast spend the morning at leisure.

Enjoy the post-match function before returning to the trust.
Day 4: CAPE TOWN/ AQUILA
Check out of your accommodation and transfer to Aquila Game Reserve. On arrival check in to the Aquila Safari Lodge for a one night stay on a full board basis.
Enjoy dinner in the bush.
Day 5: AQUILA / CAPE TOWN
Rise early as the sun rises.
Return for breakfast and check out from the lodge and transfer to Cape Town.
EXCURSION:Table Mountain, enjoy the 360 degree panoramic view of Cape Town
Transfer to meet your host families for two nights billeting.
Day 6: CAPE TOWN
EXCURSION: Robben Island
Transfer to play in your second fixtures.

Enjoy the post-match function before returning with your hosts.
Day 7: CAPE TOWN / STELLENBOSCH
Enjoy breakfast before leaving your hosts.
OPTIONAL EXCURSION:Two Oceans Aquarium
Continue to Stellenbosch where you will meet your new host families at a local school for two nights billeting. Spend the evening at leisure where you will be entertained.
Day 8 : STELLENBOSCH
Enjoy breakfast with your hosts.
EXCURSION: Cheetah Outreach
Transfer to your third fixtures of the tour.

Enjoy the post-match function where you can mix with your opposition before returning with your host families.
Day 9: STELLENBOSCH/CAPE TOWN
Enjoy breakfast before saying goodbye to your hosts.
EXCURSION: Cape Peninsular Cruise to Seal Island
Enjoy lunch at Bertha’s Restaurant before continuing to Boulders Beach.
Check in to the ProteaHotel Breakwater Lodge for two nights on a bed and breakfast basis. An optional dinner at the City Grill Steakhouse can be arranged at the V&A Waterfront.
Day 10: CAPE TOWN
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
You will then transfer to your fourth and final fixtures of the tour.

Enjoy the post-match function with your hosts.
Day 11: CAPE TOWN-LONDON
After breakfast check out our your hotel, you have the option to do any last minute shopping down at the V&A Waterfront Shopping Mall.
Depart to Cape Town International Airport for your overnight flight to London.
Arrive into London Heathrow and continue with your own arrangements.
