Thought For The Day

TBSHS at Home – Day 2 - The Black And Gold Spirit at Home

Aim: Take responsibility.

In 1998, Boris Johnson visited TBSHS. He talked with Year 12 at the top of the Sixth Form Centre about the importance of politics. Then, a year earlier, the Labour Party had just achieved a massive majority in the 1997 Election and he was making a polite, good humoured and apologetic case for the Conservative Party to Year 12.

The analysis of this current period of history is for the future. Now the UK and the Prime Minister faces the greatest challenge since the Second World War.

On Monday night, the Prime Minister addressed the nation.  Watch his speech and follow it:

You also need to take responsibility for your learning too.  No dodging.  Help your parents, carers and teachers. Help us to help you.

This is the time to lead and help others.  At home. In society.

Thank you for everything.
