Dale Reeve, Headteacher, said: ‘’It has been an excellent couple of weeks for TBSHS students, with our Year 11 boys matching the success of last week’s departing sixth-formers. They have produced some incredibly impressive GCSE results, with a fantastic number of grades 7, 8 and 9 being achieved by so many individuals. Lots of the boys were absolutely spot on with their attitude and work ethic and, as a result, have reaped rich rewards. They did a great job of managing their time to enable them to continue to engage in our busy enrichment programme, and I look forward to seeing them flourish in our sixth form next term. Congratulations to the boys and their parents and a big thank you to our dedicated staff for the inspiration and support they have provided for these students over the last five years. A special mention must go to the dedicated tutor team and Dr Martyn Fisher, their Head of Year, for keeping them on track throughout the two year course.”
