With large numbers of students picking up A and A* grades, the vast majority are now heading off to their first choice university destinations. Four students have gained a place at either Oxford or Cambridge University with another two going off to study medicine.

Dale Reeve, Headteacher, said “Huge congratulations to all those sixth formers who have done incredibly well and collected some breath-taking results this summer. There were so many outstanding individual performances, not just those gaining places on Oxbridge or Medicine courses, but so many others with fantastic results that are taking them to some of the very best universities around the country. My congratulations also go to those students embarking on apprenticeships or going straight into employment. They’ve worked so hard to gain such great results, showing excellent character and resilience along the way, and they’ve been incredibly well supported over the last two years by our superb staff, to whom I’m extremely grateful. We wish all those departing students the very best of luck and look forward to following their progress over the coming years.”
