Over the last few weeks, interupted by snow and Christmas holidays, students from years 7,8,9,10 and 11  have enjoyed cake, squash and congratulations in a series of celebrations marking the most improved academic performance in the autumn term, and congratulating good citizens from each year group.

Over the last few weeks   the different year groups were presented with their awards, when they could eat cake and consume large quantities of squash. The headmaster Mr Reeve, and all staff were delighted to be able to celebrate successes.

Headteacher, Mr Dale Reeve, commented, "The Commendation Teas are a great way for us to recognise the excellent attitude for learning shown by the students. So many of them work incredibly hard in school and adopt a positive approach to lessons because they can see the real value in doing so. It is lovely to be able to reward those students who make good progress during the course of a term, as well as those who make an excellent contribution to our school community. Congratulations to all boys who have taken part in a Commendation Tea so far, their efforts have been duly rewarded. I shall look forward to the next round.”
