Headteacher, Mr Dale Reeve, said “This excellent set of GCSE results is a fantastic follow-up to last week’s A-Level performance. Congratulations to all our Year 11 students who have worked so hard to achieve this success. This is a group with many talents outside the classroom, including sport and music, who have contributed wholeheartedly to the extra-curricular life of the School and they’ve managed to produce brilliant academic outcomes as well. I’m particularly impressed with how well they’ve coped with the new English and maths curricula; gaining so many of the new grade 9s and 8s is a huge achievement. I would like to thank all the staff for the excellent support they have given to the boys, and to their Head of Year, David Sadler, for keeping them on track. These students will form part of a very promising sixth form cohort for the next two years.”
